Stick-On Stone Panels
This stone panel is an innovative Natural Stone product for cladding, interior and exterior walls. These panels come in 600mm long x 150mm high x 40mm deep modular sections. They are composed of a natural stone front outer face with a reinforced cement / mesh backing. The panels are fixed with a suitable adhesive to walls generally, both indoors and outdoors. The application is quite similar to tiling, adhesive is spread onto the back of the panel and onto the substrate and the panel is then fixed to the wall ensuring there are no voids in the adhesive.
They also come without a cement backing and they are fitted in the same fashion as the cement backed panels.
The panels come in boxes and are clean and easy to handle, leaving no mess, especially indoors. They are ideal for chimney breasts, accent walls, garden walls, house fronts, facades, etc.

Fitting The Stone Panels
Ideally the panels should be fixed to a clean, flat, stable substrate e.g. blockwork or rendered blockwork.
- Mix the adhesive by adding the polymer modified powder to clean water, to a suitable consistency.
- Apply the adhesive to both the back of the panel and the wall. Then fix the panel to ensure solid bed fixing.
- Fitting starts at the lowest point of the wall and the bottom row should be temporarily supported or sit on a firm support.
- The panels are laid one row on top of the other alternating the vertical joints to stagger with the previous row.

Botament
Hardfoam Base Panel
This inorganic material is ideal when it is necessary to tile raised access floors which are common in all modern office buildings. The 10mm thick board can be fixed to the metal panels using self tapping screws and special washers. For tiling timber in domestic applications e.g. T&G boarding 6mm thick Hardfoam Panels can be used. Similarly, the material can be easily cut or shaped with a Stanley knife.
